Justin Kreinbrink

 

Justin Kreinbrink has over seventeen years of experience in the motion picture industry. At fifteen, he became a production assistant on the Academy Award-winning film Braveheart and the television movie Vanishing Point.


Justin has served as a stunt man/double in numerous productions, including 24, Mission Impossible III, Brothers, and When I Find the Ocean, specializing in driving, rigging, and fight scenes. He is a member of the Louisiana Stunt Association. He has also been involved in production work on the Discovery Channel show Mastodon: In Your Backyard.


An award-winning actor, he has appeared in commercials for local and national companies including Arby’s, and will soon be featured in a Direct TV commercial with Lou Pinella. He has also acted in theatrical productions of Macbeth and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and several independent and Hollywood productions including the hit series 24, Universal’s Miracle at Sage Creek and Echo Bridge Entertainment’s The Decoy. Recently, Justin co-starred in an episode of the award-winning series 3 Way with Liz Vassey and Christina Cox, and the neo-noir film Red 71 with Angus Scrimm. He will appear in the upcoming film The Hard Ride, with Val Kilmer and Elisabeth Shue, depicting legendary gunfighter John Wesley Hardin.


In 2006, Justin directed/produced/starred in the western feature The Decoy, shot entirely in Southern Arizona, and distributed nationwide by Echo Bridge Home Entertainment/Showtime, and worldwide by Unistar Entertainment. The film is used by the Arizona Film Commission to show potential filmmakers the many different landscapes Arizona has to offer.


The face of El Tour de Tucson (one of the largest cycling events in the United States), Justin produced, directed, and hosted the documentary El Tour de Tucson, winner of five Telly Awards including Directing and Long Subject Film. He was named Volunteer of the Year in 2007 for his work. He has produced/hosted the videos since 2003. Justin also produced and hosted a promotional video for Saguaro National Park, which helped raise thousands of dollars for the park.


Justin worked on several productions during 2008, including Lion's Gate's Brothers with Tobey McGuire, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Natalie Portman, Lifetime's Sex and Lies in Sin City with Mena Suvari, Matthew Modine, and Marcia Gay Harden, Universal's My One and Only with Renee Zellweger and Kevin Bacon, and St. John's of Las Vegas with Steve Buscemi, Sarah Silverman, Tim Blake Nelson, and Emmanuelle Chriqui.


In 2008/2009, Justin co-produced and served as second-unit director for the feature film Trade In, a comedy about two car dealerships competing to remain open in a sales contest devised by an eccentric banker. The film features cameos from Corey Haim and Ron Jeremy, and was released in late 2010 .


Recently, Justin was hired by Talmarc Productions to co-produce the upcoming film The Hard Ride, with Val Kilmer and Elisabeth Shue. He has also agreed to co-produce/second unit direct and act in the upcoming The Last Horseman, with Buck Taylor and Wes Studi, and has been recently signed to direct the feature film A Meadowlark Calling, one of the first films produced by the Hometown Studios.


Justin has prepared budget breakdowns, preliminary schedules, film tax credit breakdowns, and cash flow statements for films ranging from a $78,000 budget to $25 million dollars.  Recent budgeting projects have included Johnny Kidd, The Hard Ride, The Last Horseman, and Taxidermist.
